School Photos Sync

What it does

The archive component reads an owner-approved Google Drive folder tree, uploads supported media to a dedicated Google Photos archive, and maintains a private Google Sheets manifest of media selected through an owner-configured Google Photos album.

The recipient component reads that manifest, validates the listed source files, and uploads only those selected items to a second authorized Google Photos account. Google Drive is read-only in both components, and neither component alters or deletes source files.

How selection works

Any people-based grouping is configured and performed within Google Photos by an account owner. This application does not perform facial recognition and does not send media to an external biometric service.

Who can use it

This is not a public service and has no public registration. Access is limited to explicitly authorized Google accounts.
